Going through a school system that lacked any sort of financial education, I was lucky enough to realize early on that to live the life I wanted I needed to learn about money and how to make it work for me. That began years of self-educating and a passion for sharing my knowledge and helping others.

I have completed my education through The Financial Advisors Association of Canada and am currently certified as a Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP) through FP Canada (formerly known as the Financial Planning Standards Council). You can find me on their “Find a Planner” Directory.

I consider myself a huge advocate for the everyday person. I believe that everyone deserves access to professional financial advice and I pride myself on providing clear and understandable guidance to my clients and find joy in helping them learn new things. Whether it be through the teaching of general financial literacy, or simply sharing my knowledge of common traps, tricks, and sales tactics that many fall victim to when dealing with financial advisors, banks, and other brokers. I would hate to see anyone’s life be affected by poor financial decisions that can easily be avoided.

I am also a huge supporter of individuals taking charge of their own finances. With technological advances, times have changed in the financial world drastically and taking advantage of this can save you a lot of money.
